This event is FREE to attend for Trainee members, although a refundable deposit of £50 is required during registration.
The Healthcare Infection Society has developed a structured Trainee Education Programme specifically for medical microbiology, medical virology and infectious diseases trainees and is aligned to their curricula.
The programme comprises of a series of three one-day training sessions per year, over a three year period. This programme is available primarily to HIS Trainee members. A small number of places are available to non-trainees. If you fall into this category, and would like to attend. Please contact admin@his.org.uk.
If you are not already a HIS Trainee member, you can join for FREE today. Once your membership application has been completed, you are eligible to attend this event.

The Healthcare Infection Society (HIS) is a charity (no.1158172) whose objectives are to advance knowledge of, foster scientific interest in and disseminate information about the prevention and control of hospital and other healthcare associated infections (HCAIs), to medical and allied professionals for the benefit of the public.
HIS membership is open to microbiologists, nurses and other health professionals with a professional interest in infection control. HIS members receive access to the Journal of Hospital Infection and grants and bursaries and the Society organises a programme of training events, courses and conferences throughout the year.
